Training Based Upon Dog Psychology
Having a great relationship with your dog begins with effective communication and understanding.
In order to live joyfully with your dog, you first need to understand how your dog thinks and reacts. With that foundation, you’ll understand what causes certain behavior as well as how to change that.
Scott and Darcy want you and your pet to enjoy the best years that you’ve ever had. However, before you can reach that level of bliss, there are some things that you need to know about your furry friend. At Dog 2 Dog training, we believe in education for owners and pets to achieve a relationship that fosters mutual respect and effective communication.
With over 35 years of experience, our capable trainers can assist you on your journey to teaching your dog how to adapt to your lifestyle. Just as importantly, we will show you why your dog exhibits specific behaviors and what each of behavior means. For most gentle species, peace comes from empathy and understanding, and we will help you to understand everything that you need to improve your pet’s mental health.

What You’ll Discover
Donnelle & Kj’s Story
“We rescued a puppy in the spring who needed heart surgery. We discovered a few days after we got her she was deaf. Although I know a lot about dogs, I had not a clue how to train a deaf puppy. A friend highly recommended Dog 2 Dog. I’m so grateful for their expertise and highly recommend them. 8 months later, it is so fun to be ableDarcy and Scott have been the best blessing to us with these sisters we adopted- Maggie and Astraea. We have 2 older dogs but these two sisters were giving us a challenge. The difference is night and day from the 1st lesson (wild childs) to current is beyond any words. It really is just amazing what Darcy and Scott have taught us and our girls. I tell everyone I can about them. You guys are the best! Thank you Thank you! to take our pup on off-leash trails and have her full attention, to be able to relax knowing she is safe and has excellent recall.“
DONNELLE S.
We started with wanting to learn more about getting our dogs to a service dog level. We met Darcy and we told her that we had limited time as we would be moving for work. Darcy and her team had every confidence in the fact that we could accomplish our goal by the time we needed to leave. We get a CRAZY amount of compliments on our dogs behavior in public and even with our friends and family. Darcy and her team have absolutely changed our life and our pack at home. This will forever be my pack moving forward!!!!
